Apple Users Can Now Use Physical Security Keys for Login Verification
If you’re an Apple user, you can now use physical security keys to verify your Apple ID login instead of a passcode. With iOS 16.3, iPadOS 16.3, and macOS Ventura 13.2, you can add an extra layer of security to your account. Security keys work alongside two-factor authentication (2FA), so you still need your password. However, the security key replaces the second step, the passcode.
